A fire NO, Dust coming into town...

Then it just got bigger and higher it started to block the sun...

Taken from home at midday today a wall of dust heading due East towards Sydney town... The big dry on it's way to the City of Sydney...

You all have a good weekend.... and have fun....

August 30 Thursday 2018

I was asked to take pictures for insurance today they were two big and to many to send so I added them to three dots website and will upload to the website... I don't have that much data...

The bonnet is down but up on both sides at the front.

The vin (I think) as requested..

The car been there near a week last Friday and the windscreen was not broken some dick head tossed a rock and put a dint in the bonnet the doors were open this morning... I cannot lock all the doors.. The door lock sounds like a machine gun.

They ratted the car again (the first lot got most of it last Friday night) even my spare camera.. (sorry about the radio kids, it was a christmas gift)..

Front left door few dints..

The backseat did a fold up so I guess something broke

The backbend a odd shape this is the back left the body jacked up and the wheel just touching the ground near off the ground.

This show it a bit better.

Same wheel left rear

The right rear is turned in at the bottom.. something not right here..

The left rear is a lot higher than the right...

Back door a few dints the front right bent at the bottom, the running rail twisted and bent.

The right door closed but bent at the top but the roof seems to be bent down...

Not sure what not right here the part that holes the bonnet is bent back.

Peter a local said that sub frame he called it, is bent and twisted...

That oil coming out of the gearbox... still dripping after a week...

After a week there's no oil on the dip stick (it was full)..

I don't know what going on here near the fan front left...

The air filter box is broken away...

I took this under the car but not sure what I am looking at...

That you shape bracket at the far left of picture looks to be bent to the right but that maybe right I don't know a lot about cars these days ....

Video's I started up top and took the track the car went with no motor running... The maximum video is 47sec turn your sound off at the time of the video's it was blowing around 40kph wind...

August 29 Wednesday 2018

Sorry I am so late have not been feeling to good late today, I worked on the hall way out to the new kitchen today and I was fine then fell sick maybe to early to start work after the accident, I felt ok in the morning...

Starting to get there and it is looking better but a lot of work to go sealing up the top, I get all the big sheets on first...

They are saying 80% rain tomorrow, late in White Cliffs we sure need it the Kangaroos are around looking for water every afternoon they are dropping dead all over the place in town. Council worker Tony been cleaning up where he can...

That it for tonight you all have fun...

August 28th Tuesday 2018

First stoop today was the Art House we look after on a Tuesday from 10am to 1pm that's our one day a week.. Carol teaching art to the locals they know she comes on a Tuesday and a number of locals come do art with here, it's good...

Inside the art house in the main street, we can now swap books over...

Inside the art house and op shop...

Across the road from the Art House the White Cliffs Hall where I been getting tank water and so does everyone else... That little green car is Carol Lotus Proton right now that the best car we have...

Note how dry it is not a blade of grass to be seen, they say rain at the end of the week, they said that last week and the week before that, no rain...

Looking up the road the White Cliffs Hospital with all the cars...

Taken at around 30m with the new camera sitting on a power line, you have to like that camera.

The old White Cliffs Post Office after it's rebuild in the last two years...

When the car rally came to town about ten days ago and the school fed the 290 drivers and crew they let town and left a big box behind.. When built how it looks in the school playground. Not bad the kids love it...

Not long to wait 2020 at the school the local time Capsule, there are two in town...

As for me getting better each day and being looked after by the people at the hospital....

That camera the make and model "Canon SX-430-IS" price around $290 to $300 (I got mine on line) the camera shop in White Cliffs will open around 2080 I am told next to K-Mart and Myer.... Joking ...

Where good, a bit better each day...

August 27th Monday 2018

No car crash today I am not going to talk about it... Had an easy day the doctor said I am on light duty how can I go on light duty I'm retired...

Took the camera outside to see what I could find and also answer a three dots question...

I am not the only one looking for water it's a small trailer to carry a ton of water.

Up a tree near home a Pigeon this afternoon that's a good picture .

In the same tree other side wish I new the name a small bird around a 100mm (4") high the camera seem good with short zoom around 1300mm lens setting.

Answer the question the red is the fire station about 1500m away the blue is a tram out on the Opal fields at around 5000m from home...

This a 1500m zoom full power 180x zoom or in the old scale 4,860mm lends full digital zoom.

This a 5000m that's 5km's away and zoom full power 180x zoom or in the old scale 4,860mm lends full digital zoom. I took the picture but it was to far away to see it with my eyes... Your question does it break up at full digital zoom I have to say yes it does that Tram in the background is from Melbourne and used as a home.

A bit of a story, the Tram was used by the headmaster at the school here in White Cliffs as his home... around the 1950's

You all have fun...

August 26th Sunday 2018

Went out for coffee at the hotel this morning and they put on Bacon and Eggs for the coffee group so we had a up market meal at the hotel this morning...

Thanks for the email's and phone calls about the car crash a lot saying I should have stayed in the car you have to remember from the time it all started till the time I was tossed from the car was about 4sec it all happen so fast. One good friend said you did the right thing getting out of the Mercedes Benz when it hit that wall of dirt and rock you could have been killed with a 10G hit at that point, that made me feel better this was just a accident and it happen so fast...

It came over this bank and hitting all this rock just unreal...

If you look hard you will see the car, no one in there right mind would every drive on this rock...

I say no more about the car till I know what going to happen to it...

Still sore I sat down and talked to my friends the one on the right is around the size of a plastic bucket...

They are so small and without water they will not live Carol is feeding them around four times a week.. The sad thing is there are heaps of dead Kangaroo's on the road side not kill by cars or trucks just lack of water and food..

I was talking to Adrian and Dianne last night it was good to hear them...

Next Thursday there is a dinner and sing along with Calvin who works at the Hospital and fixed me up last friday. He was born in the Cook Island's and does medical work in Australia, 25% of his time he does medical work in the Cook Island and Fiji for near nothing working as a Heart Doctor.. This all cost money and that what going to happen next Thursday night we are going to raise money for travel cost around the island's apart from looking after people he is a great singer... Dinner and show is $25 head next thursday...

You all have a great week and be happy (I try)...

August 25th Saturday 2018

Yesterday was a bad day the Mercedes Benz had a small problem that has turned into a major problem. I was on my way to see a friend, Carol was at Craft. Almost at the top of the driveway I was heading down the motor stopped I put the break on I had no breaks, and no steering. I put the automatic in neutral and try to start it, nothing. Weather this was smart or not I tossed of the seat belt and undid the driver's door and within a faction of a second I was toss out of the car...

The little red dot is where I landed, the car went over the bank and kept going maybe 600m from home it hit a gully a creek across our drive, across the drive next door across the main dirt road, up a dirt bank full of rock just unreal how far it went...

Where I landed with the Kangaroo poo the car went over the bank hitting all those rocks below...

The car a mess the body out of line there is oil leaking under the car from the motor and the gear box the doors are not closing right.

Me, well five hours in the White Cliffs Hospital then sent me home I landed face down, today I have a sore face, sore neck and shoulders just not doing to much, NRMA are sending a recovery truck from Dubbo to pick up the car and take it back to Dubbo sometime in the next week, yep a week...

I went down around 11am this morning to have a look and the car had already been ratted by people I guess over night. That' just not fair to do that..

That's today, I think I just go sit down...

August 24th Friday 2018

Nothing to report tonight due to car crash in the Mercedes Benz, cannot say I had a good day.. I am sore but ok thanks to staff at hospital... I try tell you tomorrow...

August 23rd Thursday 2018

We are back in White Cliffs and all is well, 300km's that's a long drive home I guess it long because we drove in yesterday... The little car was packed with 95% food and as a point of interest we used 6lt per 100km's the Mercedes Benz runs at around 13lt's per 100 it off set the price of high fuel prices... Fuel is $1.35 in Broken Hill today...

I started this yesterday:

In Broken Hill near the Police Station another grand building...

The lawn is growen with recycle water looks good... Everyone should see Broken Hill you need three to four days to look around the biggest blow to Broken Hill was when BigW closed down early this year that was a big blow to the town...

Old building across the road in the main street...

One of the big Hotel in town the art work inside this Hotel is fantastic and worth looking at...

Carrington Hall built 1888, across from the Police Station that is an old building back in 1888 the road was dirt I wonder did it rain in those days....

Back home in our own bed away from heaps of cars and people...

I hope you read about the Emu's in town yesterday.

Not the only one that has trouble here Doug in Queensland...

Well done Doug, Toyota Camper.. You could have taken the train out of the back (you sure will not fix that one up)... guess that's not fun at all....

I been told Joi is back home in Melbourne... That's good news...

Tomorrow I talk about the road in and out of Broken Hill...

You all have fun....

August 22nd Wednesday 2018 Happy Birthday Muffy (my sister) 21 again for the 60th time haha.

All picture taken at the Memorial area Broken Hill in the main street near the police station and Court House... The area is so well kept...

How good is this area the Broken Hill council does a great job in this area.

What a great building...

I put up a heap more pictures tomorrow from home...

We need to do some more shopping tomorrow then head for home in White Cliffs...

HAVE A READ

Here a bit to read on Broken Hill CLICK HERE.

Proton going well we had a good trip today...

I'm late so that's it...

August 21st Tuesday 2018

This morning we looked after the Local Art House in town from 10am to 1pm it just good fun most of the time we just talk to visitor's to the town I talk to a couple from Queenstown Tasmania today and found they new my uncle who passed away a few years back... It's a small World some days...

I went for a walk with the new camera this afternoon that camera sure got some power I been reading the book on how to use it, that like a never ending story...

Here a picture I took of the CWA Building in the main street today, you sure do not need to own a lawn in White Cliffs, the lawn mower business left town (just joking) not a blade of grass to be seen..

This bird is about 30ft up the tree so I just took it's picture to see what happen (not to bad) now what sort of bird is it... just good fun...

Taken from home today looking North towards Turley Hill see the red square that what I did a zoom on...

There it is, the caravan in the shed is a "New Age" caravan. There is sure some junk up top that at 38x zoom

I looked up and seen the moon so here the picture taken today, the camera was hand held I will try again one day soon and see if I can get a better picture... Nice blue sky today with a cool wind...

Tomorrow it's off to Broken Hill we need food for the next six weeks that about when we will go in next time. As I said yesterday we are taking Carol Car for a drive this time 300km's in tomorrow stay over night and back home Thursday morning...

Hello Joi get better soon, Hi Peter...

Hello to all in Queensland I know there are a number of you reading "Three Dots"...

Time to pack for tomorrow... you all have fun...

August 20th Monday 2018 Gas bottle...

Joi my sister is sick in hospital in Melbourne, not good but she will kick up and be home soon...

The Mercedes Benz took up the morning I had a banging noise in the back I was thinking one of the pipes under the car the problem was the fuel filter it was held in place by a cable tie guess that was fitted in Wodonga when the filter was replaced... The cable tie had broken and the 8" metal filter was flapping around under the car that what the banging noise was.. All fixed and I took the car for a drive and no noise from under the car at all, the dirt roads are not easy on car's...

The car has never been off road in it's life.

Took this late in the day it is a good picture of the town there ar a lot of building in town a few more sheds have popped up in the last year or too...

The big lot of green trees are around an almost empty dam used by council but the trees are green for now and guess who dropped by for a drink Little Roo, it's a water day when it comes to food today he has to look after it himself...

....
First picture looking out, next is outside looking in...

I finish the new doorway off today it fixed in place and now has a door lock fitted and the door is trimmed on the outside and sealed I need to make sure nothing can get in under the door after all there are lot of bugs up here ready to bite... And I know before you tell me we need to seal the walls I hope to get started on that tomorrow afternoon...

Tomorrow we are at the Art House in the morning as we are every Tuesday, Carol done a new Emu painting and this one is already sold...

Wednesday we are going to Broken Hill for a food trip and stay at the motel, travel back home on Thursday...

We are taking Carol car the Proton (Pot) read the number plate for a drive (car only no trailer)...

Scott had a broken back door on his house so he took it to Albury and Adrian fixed it over the weekend, Scott you will have the best rear door in the street.. Adrian fixed the door Scott fixed his computer...

Well that's it today...

As I say Have Fun...

From Bernie in Howlong Been coming to White Cliffs many years:

A recent photo from ABC Rural website of a white kangaroo sometimes seen near Bob Strong's general store, Wannaring "up-the-road" from White Cliffs. The condition is called Leucism where pigmentation  [melanin] is absent  in the fur. It is also fairly common in birds... mainly pigeons. It is a different condition to  Albuism [albino] as animals with leucism still have normal eye colouring... brown, grey and green...but true albinos have light blue eyes....and NOT pink as is widely believed. Maybe all kangaroos should be white so they stand out at night in car's headlights!?

As for White Cliffs the wind is back and blowing really hard all day.. Right now it is just 15c, 50kph wind, blue sky and no rain. Apart from a few day the we have had wind for a month.. We went to coffee at the White Cliffs Hotel this morning.. Thanks Bernie...

One little boy at the White Cliffs Hotel from Broken Hill having a drink, it's ok he over 18... and on milk... Just a good picture...

You all have fun today, to much wind outside so time for coffee...

August 18th Saturday 2018

Coffee at Red Earth Cafe and Opal shop this morning with a about 15 other people it was good. Williamstown South Australia near two years we camped there and met Helen and Ron I gave them my card and today we met up with them after they came to White Cliffs and rang us last night... Nice people staying at the White Cliffs Caravan Park... They visited our Underground home this afternoon it made for a great day...

Our baby Kangaroo on our land today, we feed the little guy every second day...

He knows he can get food and water here if he goes on farm land he may get shot as he eating food that the farmer say is for there livestock, it's a hard life out here right now.. We give it food and water...

NSW drought curtails kangaroo cull

STARVING kangaroos are looting rubbish tips for scraps and eating almost anything left out, including cardboard, as the drought tightens its grip on far western NSW.

The roo population across the region remains high but just as livestock are pressed to find food in dust bowl paddocks, tens of thousands are struggling to survive.

Some farmers are even feeding them on the properties alongside their remaining sheep, unable to watch animals simply starve to death.

The big dry has dramatically slashed the quality of kangaroo meat, prompting processing companies that usually buy large quantities to slash quotas.

With little prospect of selling their haul, many roo hunters have put down their guns.

Tonight's sunset taken from our place looking over the Underground home next door, a pink glow over the town from the sunset. Look at the blue sky sure no rain there...

You all have fun this weekend....

August 17th Friday 2018
Had a shocking night with diabetes I talk with my lady in Broken Hill Royal Flying Doctor Service she come see me early September...

I was invited out for coffee this morning which I enjoyed..

They put a new sign today at the White Cliffs Hospital "Johnston Street" that the name of the main street, not many people seem to know that it was called Opal in the old day...

Then back home I found some nails on the landing out front where we drive the cars so I got the metal detector out to check for nails then it went mad so I did a did in the ground around 8" ar think that's 200mm and found a wooden box it was so rotten I could not touch it. Inside I found this "ASW-160" it's off something and if you can help please email me "Please"

These are the other items found in the box lot of rust that's for sure... I am sure I got all the nails you have to wonder how it all got there in the first place.. There was only two rooms when I came here in 1995 so people before me lived here in two rooms... There are now six rooms plus the new hallway plus the kitchen when finished.

If you know "ASW-160" is please let me know...

Coffee at Red Earth in the morning...

Carol been asked to paint more Emu's she happy about that two are now sold and they are yet to be started...

Dick a local came and had a look at the new Jack with the electric motor today and he off to buy one... $82.00 on eBay...

Have a great weekend.... and a good night sleep, not so good last night...

August 16th Thursday 2018
Yesterday I stuffed up on the date I put 14th it should have been the 15th, it fixed now...

Last week I show you the new Electric Jack, just let you know I used it an it is great I put it under Carol car to check the break pads the jack worked great...

Great picture of little roo having a meal here at home...

Carol new art it's Carol Art with no Emu looks good.

This sign "Tatts" Butcher we need to save this sign he was here when I first came here in 1993 he open his butcher shop on Thursday and Friday only from 7am to midday then he went Opal Mining out on the Opal...

One day he hit it big time in 1995 a big slab of high grade Opal the shop closed in a week, he took around three months to recover the Opal and he left town a very rich man... I seen the sign Tuesday beside an old shed part of old time White Cliffs...

The little car ready to roll into Broken Hill next week on a food trip all clean and had a full service...

I been cleaning up outside most of the day putting things away in shed they say we will get strong wind over the weekend....

Still have a bit more to do tomorrow...

Have fun sorry for being so late...

August 15th Wednesday 2018

The wind is back in White Cliffs and it gave us hell all day long I was talking to Albury and Wangaratta and they have it as well and I seen on the news that there are big fires on the South Coast of New South Wales. No fires here but when you look around there's nothing to burn...

First job today was Carol little Proton I gave it new oil and a new oil filter... That was the easy part the part that hurt was the bonnet falling and hitting me on the head drawing blood. You lift the hood and put a pole in place... The strong wind hit the car lifted the hood the pole fell down and the hood sure got me at the time... Car all ready to go on a trip to Broken Hill in the next ten days...

The painting far better than the picture Carol put on sale Tuesday and sold it on Wednesday morning... They love the Emu's

That roof we did on Monday Afternoon looking down from above the Underground Home... That the metal I got from Aub in Albury, second hand but it's looking good I put a gutter on it and collect a bit more rain if it ever get's here.

Another view of the same roof line...

My tree planted in 1996 it never got real big but it is still growing and alive it's got it's winter coat on (silver) ....

Looking at a caravan coming in from the East it's all bad dirt road out that way...

The rocks on that road are like ten pin bowling balls.

Well that was the day here blue sky all day and a heap of wind...

Have fun...

August 14th Tuesday 2018

The Variety Bash comes to White Cliffs 290 people had lunch at the White Cliffs School today we open the White Cliffs Art house today, most of the time I sat outside the art house watching the old car in the rally...

The big old Ford sure looked the part today...

The Variety Club has it's own Medical Team in the air just in case it is needed.

The White Cliffs shop did well selling fuel to the Variety Bash cars...

The cars an old Mercedes Benz they all had fun and after lunch they moved on towards the Queensland border..

Grand old car a Ford Fair lane they were a nice car in there time..

Then more people dropped in from the air that sure blew up the dust in town....

It was an easy day sitting around the Art House doing a bit of website programming while Carol did some art with some of the local people ...

Tomorrow another day a much quieter day in town....

Have fun we sure did today...

August 13th Monday 2018

What a big day I started at 7am and finished up at 6pm four local guys turned up to help me today with the room and that bit is done.

Have a small bit to do now over the door and and fit the cement to the walls

With myself we had five men working on the roof two or three at a time... They did a heap of work today they all turned up at 1pm and got the roof done....

I had all the steel cut and ready they got the job done....

How strong is this two people were screwing down the roof at the same time very strong...

Were getting there now they came and did the job without being asked I don't think they trust me on a ladder three of them were a lot younger that I, thanks guys... Five women sat in side doing craft and cooking we had a good time today but I had enough now...

Next Saturday it is "Long Tan Day" and a service will be at the White Cliffs Cenotaph...

Greg got a auction sale on, he has been mining here for five years and head to Queensland....

That's it for today a big day....

Have fun....

August 12th Sunday 2018

Had a very cold night in White Cliffs it got down to 3.6c last night and it was cold outside we were all ok in the Underground it was 22c last night...

Some of the local guys are coming over tomorrow to help with the hallway roof just to much for us on our own, I got some old roofing iron from Aub in Albury some months ago to I cleaned the iron down and filled the holes in each sheet that was how it went today a dirty job...

I put this picture up a few weeks ago showing the area to roof it's a small area in the picture the guy that are helping are all Opal miners they work 5am to midday underground in their mines and coming here in the afternoon. There family come as well so it's tea, coffee and cake tomorrow afternoon at our place the ladies will solve the problems of the World while we work....

The only thing that will mess it all up is wind, the weather man saying low wind...

A picture from Mildura Victoria send to Three Dots some time ago, that's one place I like to visit Mildura it is a big city much like Albury Wodonga in size...

Next month in September will be five years living in White Cliffs full time I have owned the underground home from 1995 almost 25yrs but we came here full time living so five years ago.... When we came here five years ago I started "Three Dots" it was started to tell people what we are doing up here in outback NSW but people from all over the world read it today... Many of those people have been to White Cliffs and we met them at the time...

Tonight we are off to the club in White Cliffs a group of friends from Victoria are going out for a meal tonight and asked Carol and I to come tonight...

That's it for today a big day tomorrow work....

You all have fun we sure are....

August 11th Saturday 2018

Yesterday we were told there is a auction sale on the morning out on the mines, we were there at 8am as told and so where other people "Your a week early it is on next week" so we went home for breakfast then off for coffee. Had coffee with friends in White Cliffs at Red Earth Cafe the morning....

Another door fitted in place today but not finished as yet the wind came up again I hope we can finish it tomorrow afternoon, I know we need to clean it down... My daughter asked why are you fitting doors and you have no walls... It's called work in progress...

Had five emails last night about Geo Fabric how hard is it was the question you all asked.

We have a big building site here right now that grey fabric is called Geo Fabric...

As for how hard is it I went up top with the new camera in video mode and took a movie of the geo fabric from up top....

Here the video CLICK HERE...

Hope you see the video all ok....

"Sure they have dry spells, but this has gone on forever," he said.

"And as a small child coming up here fishing with my father and travelling around up here in later years as well … this has just got progressively worse.

"It's a very depressing scene. Sheep dying that are straight off-shears and yeah, the cattle are walking bags of bones. It's pretty dire out here."

Here a story to read from ABC Broken Hill CLICK HERE...

We had a dark sky all day but no rain....

More tomorrow and have fun we plan to....

Taken today looking North from home "Dust" and a heap of it that's looking over town the olny time we moved to was a trip to the Post Office... The wind was between 50 and 60 kph all day from the North West... In talking to others today it was the same down South in NSW and in Vic...

Was not able to find much that we could do in such a strong wind, I did a bit more on the Proton Car today cleaning and checking the tyres... I was going to change the oil and filter but just to much dust in the air...

The wind gave us some big problems today, the underground home is built in the side of a hill and we had trouble with rocks falling outside (everyone has the same problem) but some 5yrs ago I found a fix to the problem I installed a wall of Geo Fabric on the rock face. I took the Geo Fabric and soaked it in wet cement then tossed it over the wall. It worked fantastic we have never had a rock fall be hind the Geo Fabric wall...

Today we had a wind from the North West and the area that is not covered we had bad rock falls on top of the laundry, big rocks as you can see in the picture... So I need more Geo Fabric to fix the problem the strong blows the dirt out from between the rocks and you get rock falls like today..

We have never lost a rock inside the home...

Over the last two weeks we have lost a lot of rock on this wall...

The weekend is here and we are planning to have coffee at Red Earth Cafe in the morning...

We are planning to have a great weekend....

Have fun...

August 9th Thursday 2018

First job today's was work on Carol car, I have two jobs left one fix the temperature gauge it is only working after you bang your hand on the dash, I am going to pull out the panel and try fix it over the weekend. The second job is the car service, new filters new oil I do that as soon as I can....

Carol fed some of the locals this afternoon we have a very little Kangaroo it has no mum or dad so we are feeding it and we are still feeding Poo Roo....

This little guy would be dead without help he about as tall as a plastic bucket....

He likes Carol left over's I hear we should not feed them, there is no feed out here nothing no a thing...

Then Poo Roo turned up the little on the size of a plastic bucket we feed them every second day... On the odd days they have to fend for them self....

And this is what took me most of the day, fitting a 620mm wide door we are about to install the wall panels and we need a way to service the hot water service you can see behind the door... If the weather kind to us (like it was today) we will put the roof on next Monday Afternoon... Brothers Peter and Ted are going to help me do the job...

The Camera Canon SX430is, A number of people have asked about my new camera.

Click Here for all the details and as for the cost around $290.00 in White Cliffs... CLICK HERE

Canon always been a good camera and this one is the same, what makes it is the zoom it is unreal...

The pictures of the Kangaroo's today taken at 50m from our front door my moon picture coming soon we I try for it...

That's Thursday and you all have fun....

August 8th Wednesday 2018

Dianne and Adrian are back home in Albury after a trip from Brisbane, hope you had fun...

This is a shocking story we had a lot of noise outside just after dark last night it was coming from the shed next door I rang the people and they came out we found a small Kangaroo on the ground banging it's tail on the shed wall. Then it stopped and it passed away, they dug a hole to bury the little guy then we seen a bullet hole he had been shot... That would take a real basted to shoot such a small kangaroo....

Here is a sunset sent to us by Doug in Queensland it was taken in Caloundra I like the way it hit the water...

Thanks Doug...

I need a new jack for the car, caravan and decided to give this one a go, it came today...

As you can see the jack has a motor on it that will do all the work and it is rated at 3 ton lift put it under the car hook it onto the car battery and push the button. The other item in the kit is a Impact Wrench to remove and replace the wheel nuts...

I found it on eBay at a cost of $82.00 the lot with free postage to White Cliffs. I try it in the next few day and let you know how we get on (a new trolley jack was over a $100.00 and you do all the work)

Three ton will lift most things, now to try it out...

Well that's it today I be back at work in the morning they say the wind will drop tomorrow it been blowing for 16 days in a row, not good...

Have fun all...

August 7th Tuesday 2018

Carol and I open the art house this morning from 10am to 1pm for the local art people we are looking after Tuesday while others open on Monday and Wednesday I took my computer and worked on the White Cliffs webpage in the right column have a look at the page now I cleaned it up a lot now....

Carol and Lakie at art today...

Next door to the art house a dead tree, not quite dead someone added a steel post and it is in flower, paper flowers "It could only happen in White Cliffs" the tree lives on in the main street...

I seen this at the White Cliffs Hall today, you would think that if the hall needs to boil water then the rest of us should have been told to do the same....

A Cuppa for a cockie, there are a number of down pipes being set up around town...

About ten days ago I told you about a Kangaroo that fell over out side our front door a very small roo... We gave him food and water and for ten days every night around 4pm he calls in for a drink and a meal of food scraps I took this from 50m away...

Just for the fun of it I tired a big zoom on the new camera from the same 50m away... It's almost to close... but a good test of the new camera this was at 600mm I still had another 800mm to go...

Well that 3Dots in White Cliffs for today you all have fun, still cold 17c tops today and 6c tonight they say...

Don't forget to check out the White Cliffs website...

This is looking at the roof of the underground home...

We were asked do you really live underground, yes 90% of our home is underground up to 28ft under the ground. We asked that question every month there over a 100 underground homes in the local area....

We had about 10 drops of rain late in the day you should see the black Mercedes Benz just covered in mud but we recorded no rain today... We have only had 34mm of rain this year and 23mm of that was in one hour.. We are ok for now but the wild life is in big trouble...

Katy Perry turns up at Adelaide home to surprise sick fan
I cannot say I am a Katy Perry fan but after reading this story this morning I lifted her way up my ranking

Adelaide girl Grace Moores was devastated when emergency brain surgery meant she could not go to the Katy Perry concert she had been looking forward to for a whole year.

From the ABC Website CLICK HERE

What did we do today well Carol Worked on Cleaning the Caravan inside I worked on the outside of the old caravan all it needs this year is a big clean up... Next time we go into Broken Hill I need to weight the caravan. The new rules in New South Wales you have to have the weight on the caravan or a weight certificate Our caravan has no weight on the van so we need a ticket.

We cleaned up the right side and the back of the caravan today the next step in the left side and the front of the van I hope to do that tomorrow it's looking ok, I have to get a sign made for the front and the back. Told you can buy them on ebay... Note the white window frames..

Tonight we have the Art House meal at the Sporting Club, Carol made a dish for tonight...

Have a great night, we will...
