A bad day to take pictures with no sun to be seen, this is about 1km from the car the mouth of the Bega River...

Then the camera locked on this in the water, what to hell is that a spaceman I was sitting in the car Carol and I looked and could see nothing, it not a fish "What to hell is it" took about ten pictures " it was looking at us that for sure. I got back in the car and it was still there...

Where is our spaceman...

Then Bingo I found him " The windscreen washer on the bonnet of the car " the camera locked on and I zoom in I had zoomed in on the windscreen washer, damn smart camera's...

It was about 2km's away, what's that on the beach up there near the Bega, so we put the camera setting at 2000mm and took a picture... It's a log... (just a bit or fun, but it was so far away it could have been anything...)

The Bega River in another 200m it flows into the sea...

In Bega the 1914-1919 Memorial but I have to ask why 1919 the first war ended in 1918... seen I was not here I have to say 1919, after all in 1914 my father "Jack" was just 11yrs old.. As I said in Bega..

Monday 18th February 2019

Went for a drive around Tathra today to a lot of new places around town... We took some pictures along the way as below... It was a good day and it is looking like rain tonight... Last night we had no power for some five hours getting power back just after 10:30pm last night. We have lost power two times in two day, that's no good...

The wharf here at Tathra a lot of people fishing from the Wharf today....

Looking the other way from the Wharf that open water there but a calm day on the water...

The kids would love this, water every where looks like a lot of fun...

The Bega River near the mouth of the river about 8km's from Tathra.. guess their looking for bait...

There the mouth of the Bega River where the river runs into the sea...

Carol picture she liked the way the plants are growing out of the rock....

We went to the Tathra Bakery today for lunch a salad roll they cost $9.00 each am I getting old or is that a bit over the top...

I needed a script for my diabetes tablets so I emailed the Royal Flying Doctor Service RFDS in Broken Hill they sent a script by fax to the Tathra Chemist shop within an hour the RFDS are great people to deal with, they really look after the people who live in the outback of Australia, (even when they are in Tathra)... They are so good...

I think it is about to rain here, have fun....

Sunday 17th February 2019

Apart from a quick trip to the supermarket we stayed home in Tathra at the caravan park and had a lazy day I washed down the caravan and got it really clean today...

Here is our camp (ar yes I did wash the car) we are sitting over this side on our own think I told you the other day it cost $17 night power and water and a very clean toilet and shower area...

If we have a problem it is the fact we are right beside the National Park behind us they have a good fire break.

Across the road from us is a really big motor home Tim and Sue have been on the road 4yr's full time but that is a really big home...

From our caravan looking East towards Tathra it is nice and green here...

Why are we over this side the biggest van you can fit in this row is 16ft and we are 16ft any bigger and most caravans are these days are moved to the next row across the road from us...

We need to stay a while in one place I think this is it...

We have had a good weekend.

Have fun...

Saturday 16th February 2019

We are having fun driving around Tathra and loving it... Really good weather today I was told not to stay at the beach side caravan park as it is full of kids, they were right I had a look today and must have seen well over a 100 kid's maybe they go to school on Monday...

I took this picture on the main road in Tathra, I do not understand what the reason the pole covered in shoes...

There seems to be shops all over town I am not sure where the CBD is it seems to be everywhere.

I call this the main street, the reason being it has more cars than any other street. There is a lot of green in Tathra, trees and grass...

Another part of the main street up the road on the right is the local Chemist, and a number of other shop...

Back up on top of the hill we have a supermarket behind me and the police station almost a shoe box as you can see in the picture...

We washed the caravan down today it sure looks a lot cleaner that it did the last two weeks, you get a lot of mud on the caravan from the wet roads...

Bill in Queensland sent me this picture, read it all it is quite funny.... Thanks Bill...

Doug, looks like we found him, haha...

Have fun this weekend great weather here...

Next we went Candelo to Bemboka as you see on the map around 24km's. For the people that know the area we are at the bottom of Brown Mountain around 35km's from Bega...

Towing the caravan it was up hill or down hill today we took our time, speed around 40 to 80kph...

This is what I mean down, then up all the way bugs covered our clean windscreen today...

That's the Great Dividing Range. From the coast side, I cannot get over the green grass.

The Great Dividing Range...

This is a new one on me you push a button and you get up to 200lt's of water free, after 200 you have to pay.. We only to 20lt's..

The river walk (no thank you we are to far from Bega to have a snake bite) I know chicken, better to play on the safe side...

The camping area is a real bush camp, just not sure how long we will stay...

That's our camp tonight as I said it is a bush camp, the new building that is going up, is a new men's shed for Bemboka...

From Susan in Canberra she had rain one day then next day dust from White Cliffs, it tracked over White Cliffs then South East towards Canberra...

The dust rolling into Canberra.... Thanks Susan...

Quite Day but you all have fun...

Sunday 10th February 2019

Our we left Bega today and headed to Candelo around 30km's South West of Bega....

The road into Candelo is narrow but wide enough for the caravan...

It is a very small camp Candelo and it is a free camp with no power so we are on Solar Power while here...

We walked into the Candelo Hotel "Are you here for the Blues Club ??" "no we just got into town and only have one table left "We will take it..." we had a mid day lunch and at 2pm the local Blues Club came to life....

What a great afternoon and it was free apart from food and drinks...

What a great afternoon....

And there not young people as you can see above but they still know how to play Blues Music...

You don't see a lady on drums often...

Well that was our day we just got back to the caravan tonight, best day this year...

I am very late, so have fun...

Friday 8th and Saturday 9th February 2019

I did the work on "Three Dots" last night and went to put it up on internet, only to find NO internet. We tired early this morning and all working with 5 out of 5 bars...

We had a really good night at Waldrons Swam Thursday night a lot of rain (no leaks in the caravan) that's a good free stop...

Next stop was just after lunch at Bega at the caravan park (showgrounds) $20 night with power and water clean toilet but we can only stay Friday and Saturday night. The park must be empty on Sunday as it is Bega Show week.

A wet road and going down a big hill with the caravan on. As you can see on the heads up, speed 41kph, using 5.6lph fuel, water temperature 108c, the orange light engine temperature over 100c most of the day I sat on 80 to 90kph in the wet. We are going down a big hill.

Here is the bottom and a hard left turn across the bridge. You can see the caravan in the mirror..

They are always working on the road around here and this is a nice new bit...

I took this in Carbargo we went on to Bega...

In Bega we setup camp in the fine weather then we got wet...

I want to buy this very old home it is about 100m from the main street in Bega...

The main street in Bega today Saturday...

Tomorrow we move on but will stay in the local area a week or two no rush. Pictures taken Saturday afternoon..

Hook the caravan up in the morning and see what we can find in the local area...

You all have fun...

Wednesday 6th February 2019

Still in Ulladulla, we went for a short drive to "Milton" for lunch and a coffee.... It is a very busy place a heap of traffic I can tell you that it needs a bypass road the A1 Pacific Highway run's down the main street..

We were sitting on the sidewalk having lunch when I took this picture... Finding a parking spot really hard...

Milton is a very old town this is the post office...

Lunch sitting on the sidewalk...

The Court House is a 150yrs old...

Back at the caravan park I took some pictures of what's here...

I am 70 this year so I will not be testing out this... Kids would love it...

This is a caravan park with a water slide...

Park swimming pool..

There are a number of BBQ's here in the park...

Two Spa's running all day...

I am told it fills with water then dumps a heap of water on your head...

Camp kitchen it is very nice inside...

Chess but no one here to play a game with and a Gym (a good place to keep out of), well for me that is...

And all this for two caravans we never used any of it...

And guess who Queen of the park today, Carol, all good fun...

Tomorrow we move some place to the south heading towards Victoria but that may take a month or two.

Well that's plan "J" for this year...

For the next few days we will be on solar power so we will do our best to get "Three Dots" on the net, just have to see how we go...

You have fun we are...

We are only here for three night and move on this Thursday It is a funny place being a very small main street yet the town has Coles, Woolworth's, Aldi, Target and a Bunnings... It was an easy drive today just a lot of hills..

Yep Joyce has a broken arm did it at school last Friday when the swelling goes down they will put it in a cast...

Ulladulla area how do the birds know we have food, "no we did not feed the birds" ...

The same area in the Ulladulla area it was a very dull day...

Open area it would be nice on a sunny day...

They have a big life saving club here, may go there for a coffee...

White Cliffs and the whole town turns out to welcome a big road tanker of WATER when you are very short of water this would be a welcome site... I know 99% of the people here... Thank you for the picture people...

Well that was our day day here in Ulladulla only a short but tonight we had a big dry storm the sky banged and thumped but not a drop of rain...
