Friday 31st May 2019

Yep that's May and the end of another month, still working outside, and till about 3pm it was a really nice day. Then about 3pm the heavy cloud moved in...

As you can see in the picture there was almost no sunset tonight and it looks like rain..

The caravan has a new home as you can see, I sat it on blocks so I can look under the van... Now the metal frame that was going to be a bathroom, now my workshop will be moved to side of the caravan I talk to Tony over the weekend...

This will be my workshop... It's all work in progress for now...

Bill Thanks for the pictures, Indian Motor bike....

From Bernie in Howlong, Thought you might like a couple of pics taken by Cliff Karnatz this past weekend of Lake Hume at low level.. The Views are from the road on the Eastern side of Lake Hume, across the lake's waters from Tallangatta Township. The contour of the bottom [base] of that dry section of lake is interesting as the  the Mitta River now flows through. It's always intriguing that that year after year, as Lake Hume refills, and all the beaut regeneration of grass, weed and associated aquatic bugs proliferate on that lake's flat area when submerged, it seems not a site conducive to trout, despite the so seen "fertility" of this 'backwater'  It makes one wonder if all the town's street  run-off water has change the pH and ecology of this "Tallangatta Bay.

Bernie thank you for sending in the pictures, sorry to take so long sending them up... RexD...

A big day on Three Dots today, in fact it was a really big week..

You all have a great weekend and have fun...

Thursday 30th May 2019

A quite day today in White Cliffs I took the camera out of town about 8km's and had a walk around it was nice in the sun but a cool wind.

Here a few outback pictures showing how Red and Green the outback is...

Just looking across towards the East, the rain did the area really good.

Some parts as you see are very green and the ground very Red

How this for a very green outback Australia, but next to no wildlife..

In this area most of the big rocks stand up like this one, why I wonder..

The outback you can grow anything, just add water...

It be million of years ago but the hill looks like it was pushed out of the ground...

Taken at home looking North East one of my so called dead trees is very much alive as you can see...

It is a wild flower and when the sun is out it opens as you see at sunset it will close up, in the front garden..

I enjoyed the walk around, there is no wildlife to be seen.. And it's all free...

We worked on cleaning the caravan out today as well...

Hope you enjoyed today pictures... and you all have fun...

You all know, quite often I run pictures of mini trains, trains have been part of my life for many years, Doug sent me some details and a link to their website..

The Sunshine Coast Railway Modellers Society track opened on 22 November, 1980. The original track in the West area of the Park was extended across the Namba creek and down onto the Petrie Creek flats to the east. The Roy Stephens Loop was opened on 5 September 1999. In 2006-7 a large part of the older track was re-laid and further extended with the aid of various grants together with Club funds. This upgrade was officially opened by the Mayor of Maroochy Shire in October, 2007. A 40ft. shipping container was installed in January 2008 to house the Club Loco and additional rolling stock. In the first half of 2008 Sunshine Coast Railway Modellers Society commissioned 6 additional passenger cars increasing the capacity to 12 to cater for the rapidly growing popularity of the track. New track works were also completed to provide access for rolling stock to and from the new 40ft container.

For the record it cost $3 a ride or $10 for 4 rides

The flying doctor service was in town today and we had to see the foot doctor who checked out my feet today. I know there is a fancy name for a foot doctor but I cannot spell Podiatrist, you know what I mean...

I know the flying doctor looking after us but last week, this week and next week the eye doctor here to do check up's.

Peter in Melbourne said they are here too.

That's it you all have fun...

Tuesday 28th May 2019

A great day in White Cliffs the morning was perfect but the wind came up in the afternoon, 18c in the shade 25c in the sun and down to 5c tonight they say. The Underground Home is still 24c inside it seem the ground heated up over the summer...

As I said last night "last night we had a Kangaroo jumping across the roof of our underground" have not seen it but hear it at night on the roof..

We got a new tent while away I cleaned the car Sunday and tossed it on the ground, this morning here it is a roo has eaten the box, they have a lot of green feed but not eating it, you can see it on the ground next to the box... The tent inside is all ok, they have just eaten the box...

Doug sitting on his train, I am not sure what the cost of a ride is...

I did think it was for kids, ar it is "Big Kids" good fun..

On the rail the train rolls on..

We need a mini rail system in White Cliffs...

Took another load to the rip today, think that's four loads in all...

Had a great day and all good in White Cliffs... Fixed a computer for an old local today, just hope it keeps going...

You all have fun and Doug thanks for the pictures...

Monday 27th May 2019

Today we went for a drive to the Chemist Shop in Wilcannia it is right on 200km's return trip I filled with petrol today in Wilcannia Unleaded is $1.55lt the same fuel in White Cliffs is $1.91.. So I filled while down there...

This is a old story but I was told today, it is still burning.

The Rural Fire Service is monitoring a rare underground fire beneath a lake bed to the west of Wilcannia. Crews put the fire out several weeks ago, but it has come back this week.

RFS Superintendent Chris Favelle says he has considered digging the lake up to put out the blaze, but it is safer just to watch it and let it burn out. He says he has never seen anything like it.

"What it is is a build-up of organic matter under the surface that's built up over thousands of years," he said. "I'd say someone's lit a campfire on top of it, and it's just ignited under the ground, so there's enough oxygen under there in the soil to keep it smouldering away under there for as long as it wants to.

"A very difficult one from a firefighting perspective, I've got to tell you!". Supt Favelle says it is creating a fair bit of smoke, but no people or properties are in danger. "We could probably use heavy machinery to dig up the lake bed but that's not really feasible, particularly when you consider the heritage issues around the lake and so on," he said.

"So at this point in time all we can really do is keep a watching brief on it and try to ensure that it doesn't get off the lake bed itself."

A shocking day to take a picture, very dark today and a cold 17c...

The Chemist and Wilcannia are right on 100km's South of home it took an 1 1/2hr drive sitting around a 100kph no corners till you get to Wilcannia...

A very dark day in this area, last night we had a Kangaroo jumping across the roof of our underground, one one heading up top of our place...

Joi you get better soon and get back home, Melbourne needs you...

You all have fun, we are trying to in the cold...

Sunday 26th May 2019

Susan had a day out in Canberra yesterday and sent us some pictures.

The living artworks of this national collection feature some of the finest miniature trees and forests in the world, created by some of Australia's leading bonsai and penjing artists.

About 80 bonsai and penjing trees and forests are usually on display, in a variety of traditional and modern styles, with both Australian native and exotic trees.

Bonsai and penjing are like living sculptures, shaped over time to convey concepts, ideas, emotions and stories. The trees are designed to reflect trees or landscapes in nature; to create a sense of calm and peacefulness and broaden the viewers' cultural understanding.

The oldest trees in the Collection are more than 60 years old, much younger than the oldest known bonsai and penjing in the world at over 800 years old. HAVE A READ  More about bonsai and penjing.

The Collection's bonsai and penjing are all donated or loaned by the artists, their families or friends.

..
That's a nice tree...

Susan thank you we will add this to our list of places to visit sometime...

What did we do today first was out for coffee then back home where I cleaned the car inside and out and we removed all the tools and stuff that we took away over the last 6mth's ....

You all have fun this week I hear it is a public holiday in the ACT tomorrow...

Saturday 25th May 2019

Our coffee shop come Opal shop in White Cliffs has moved up a big step it would hold it's own any where in Australia... But it's our coffee shop.

How good this and even more it is in Outback NSW at White Cliffs, how lucky we are...

As one person said to me today it blow your mind to walk into this place...

It just gets better and better as you walk around Red Earth Cafe and Opal shop you can easy spend two hours here...

Then in the afternoon I worked outside our home cleaning up after the Kangaroo's that were here while we were away in the caravan, what a mess... But that is not the problem "Q Fever" is the big problem...

Q fever is a bacterial infection that can cause a severe flu-like illness. For some people, Q fever can affect their health and ability to work for many years. The bacteria are spread from animals, mainly cattle, sheep and goats. Even people who do not have contact with animals may be infected.

We have a local who does not live in town but on a station a few km's out of town.. He is in hospital and very sick with Q Fever... We have been told how to dress when cleaning up after wildlife...

I have all the right gear to clean up outside, old clothes, mask, closed eye where, gloves, mask... We have been told to toss the old clothes away in the tip....

Please read here about Q Fever CLICK HERE

Susan sent me pictures on Canberra "A Day Out" I put them on 3 Dots tomorrow...

You all have fun...

Friday 24th May 2019

What happen today first bit of news was from Scott in Sydney town he there the week updating his computer skill..

Scott running a camera as part of the weekend. Sydney is a very nice city and a city I always like to visit.

Last night he had a meal on Sydney Harbour, as I said it's a nice place to visit but the best part is coming home... Thanks for the pictures Scott...

What did we do here in White Cliffs Carol went to craft with a big group of local ladies. I stayed home and cleaned up inside the new hallway it was full of dust... The new hallway has walls but no roof on the 3rd June I take the trailer with us and buy what we need to fit a new roof...

We are planning a trip to Broken Hill on the 3rd June, we need an X-ray, and on the morning of the 5th I am planning to have a rego check on the car...

The trailer is almost full again, gee we have tossed out a lot of old unused stuff in the last week.

From yesterday

I asked what to do with the old ladder left over from the steel rack. What you all said "Bird Feeder", "Hanging pots", "Cut it off", "Leave it for Kangaroos to clime"... "... Clime to the top every day" come on I am 70 in July...

Send me some more...

The weekend is here... You all have fun...

28c in White Cliffs today... it will cool down soon...

Bernie how are you getting on?

Thursday 23rd May 2019
What can one say about today just a big clean up... We had a big day outside, I took another big load to the tip of junk...

Have to do a bit of cement work but this is where the caravan will end up...

Pictures taken very late in the day, very late....

The frame will now become my new workshop and go beside the caravan...

. The old gas hot water system tank with a glass lining inside I will use it as rain water, why not 90lts backup..

You may remember we had a steel rack and a big wind storm trashed it big time we cleaned it up today and one end of the rack is all ok. I ask, what do I do with it???? sent be an email...

After six months away the drive way not bad but does need a bit of work and a clean up...

I am really late so you all have fun, Winter is coming we had 29c at home today in the shade..

Wednesday 22nd May 2019

Most of you know I had a few problems over the summer with diabetes and today the doctor came to town and checked me out she came in on the Flying Doctor Service.... Which was near two hours late they had others to look after that's fine by me...

They did a heap of test and took a heap of blood, then they talked me into a flu shot... which we both had today...

Back home mid afternoon it looked like rain...

We were hope ing for more rain and we got nothing by Sunset.

I had a sunset on last night and would never put two up in two days but this was special...

Five minutes later it looked like this but still no rain....

We were going to the chemist shop tomorrow a 100km's away 200km return but just feel like a good sleep, think the flu shot made me feel a bit off, but I am fine, Carol said she needs a sleep she had the same flu shot... May call the Chemist off till next week...

I did do a bit of work early this morning filled a few wall cracks in the underground I check about every six months. You get hair line size cracks that we fill with No More Gap filler that stops and problems...

What happens is you get a small crack and if you do nothing the air gets in and dry the soil and it gets bigger maybe a wide as a match stick do nothing and it gets bigger... So I fill them up really early and all is good...

Have fun maybe a better day tomorrow...

Tuesday 21st May 2019

A real mix today we worked inside and outside the home here in White Cliffs, today was a real mix of job and I like that it does make for a better day...

I show you this the other day our new hot water service installed in place...

The hot water service no has a top on it to keep the rain and dust out, and to all the people who have told me, yes that is a blue milk create it was the right and it is White Cliffs you use what you have up here in the outback...

Tell me if you know what plant it is I like to know what it is called... We did not plant it and it grows wild here in White Cliffs sometimes it is White or Blue as you can see the one is pink...

I am the baker here and my first home made loaf for this year, not bad ...

We moved the television to a new wall inside the underground today it looks better and better to view. It was under the window...

This was good to see Carol sat down for the first time this year and got back into art, she went out yesterday and did some art with three other ladies. Today she worked on her own...

Went outside at sunset and took my first sunset picture for the year.... Not bad...

Looking over the town tonight at sunset, the sky looks like a fire ball...

As I said a bit of a mix tonight that make Gail happy she told me she likes Three Dots when I have a mix of pictures, you all have fun..

We got 28c here today with a blue sky most of the day...

Monday 20th May 2019 (Happy Birthday Scott)

Yes Scott's birthday and he on his way to Sydney to get more computer training, tonight he in Canberra staying with his sister Happy Birthday Scott.

We were going to build a new bathroom outside next to the kitchen and it was going to be base on a large metal frame. Carol and I have decided to can, that idea and rebuild our current bathroom laundry we are going to move the laundry out to new spot we have.

Home of the new laundry next to the back door...

The bathroom rebuild will be a lot quicker and cheaper as it's already there.. It is underground and was built as a temporary bathroom years ago.

The new bathroom fit a new shower base remove the wash tub, the shelf and all on it, washing machine to the new laundry area..

I build the rock wall to the roof and install a ceiling, tiles new basin and draws ...

The large metal frame will be moved (again) and used as a workshop for me to use. A bit late seen I almost finished building the house...

But I enjoy have it all the same...

There's only two of us we do not need two toilet’s and two bathrooms 99% of the time... We have to walk past the old bathroom to get to the new one... So the new bathroom is no more the old bathroom going to get a major make over...

Back in White Cliffs and tonight we are off to the White Cliffs Hotel for a meal with about a dozen others... White Cliffs it never stops...

Back to cleaning up tomorrow I take another load to the tip...

You all have fun...

Sunday 19th May 2019

Well "Three Dot" is a bit of a no go tonight we had no power for, my fault but go it fixed just now so we are late but all good now...

Went to the hotel for coffee this morning and sat and talked for three hours... Still cleaning up inside as we clean each room we are tossing what we don't want away and we have tossed a lot away, need some paint now and get stuck into that...

A change of mine again yep we did it again Carol had a idea and I think we will go with it, more in the next day or two...

Have fun, no power but that was my fault all good now...

Saturday 18th May 2019 The day we vote for Government

Well we went for Coffee at Red Earth Cafe and met up with a lot of old friends, I think we are the last to return this year, tomorrow we are going to the White Cliffs Hotel at 9am for breakfast...

Picture from Bernie in Howlong NSW, Bernie came to White Cliffs many times in the old day when most roads were dirt, and rain turned the roads to mud. Bernie was in White Cliffs way before my time... Love the picture...

Out front of home in the late afternoon the first bird we have seen this year in White Cliff...

That's our front landing and I spent all afternoon cleaning it up I took a trailer load to the tip all sorts of stuff paint cans sticks just general rubbish blowing in on the wind...

Looking East towards Bourke It a great view from top of our place...

Taken from the back of our land looking towards the top of Smith Hill and the White Cliffs Water supply. In the past there were to many trees to see the tanks but the trees have all fallen in the drought...

I have always kept away from here because the Kangaroos always slept here (around 24yr's that I know off) around 15 every night... Right now nil, not one left.

The far back of our place not a roo to be seen...

Where do rocks come from there seems to be more rocks on the ground than before, maybe all the trees are dead and I can see more than before...

Bernie you get better soon...

You all have fun...

Friday 17th May 2019

Just before we left in November last year we had trouble with the "Hot Water Service" I installed it in 1995 when we brought the place it was the first thing I installed at the time. It was a really big day all the parts you need to do the job I had to find... Like any job in White Cliffs you use what you have.

The old hot water service was gas that's LP gas and Gas was getting over the top price wise when we got back it would not start. While in Wodonga we went and seen Lee and got a new "Electric Hot Water Service" and sat it in the car... So today I removed the LP Gas model and installed a new Electric Model 2400w 50lt runs on 240v power.

Times like this I miss a good hardware shop so I used what I had and plugged it in... Wonderful hot shower tonight in side the underground home.. I still need to build a cover and will do that over the weekend...

I Need some rocks to do some building found a heap of them above the house but more on that later...

The heavy rain last month washed out our little creek that runs off the top of the hill.. I go for a walk and see if I can find an Opal...

My tree that I planted back in 1996 made it over summer and few new trees have started to grow...

This is a native that popped up over summer I try keep it alive...

The White Cliffs Music Festival is on over the weekend, not me style of music. Got the trailer going this afternoon and plan to clean up outside over the weekend...

You all have fun this weekend we will and it's coffee at 10am tomorrow...

Thursday 16th May 2019

I never even started the car today, it's about time we gave it a big rest.. We did a lot of cleaning up inside the underground apart from using the vacuum cleaner we tossed out a heap of rubbish that we no longer use...

Green, on our return yesterday we found a light green colour on the ground, one of the big pots is missing see the big pot when we left there was two, one missing... It was empty so it may have been blowen away by strong wind...

Beside the drive way today look how green it is...

Looking towards Queensland to the North from home ...

This is proof you can grow what you like in the outback, you just add water...

I am unsure what plant this is but it looks ok I leave it and see what happens...

But the one thing missing is the wildlife (David and Sue) you can drive around and not see a kangaroo, emu there is nothing alive not even an ant I have seen nothing...

It was cold in the caravan last night so we moved inside the Underground Home today where it is 25c and that is 2c above normal for this time of year (23c)...

While away they have had a lot of wind a lot of rubbish out front on the landing comes from other people, I may get to that at the weekend...

Time to do more cleaning... It's all good fun...

Wednesday 15th May 2019

It's 7:15pm and I just got around to doing Three Dots... First we are back in White Cliffs after a 300km drive from Broken Hill...

The underground home, well to tell the truth perfect, apart from very find dust and I mean very find dust it's just as we left it just over six months ago... We had one rock fall from a wall in the old bathroom and that no problem...

The biggest problem a split plastic pipe where the water runs into the toilet system... Took a bit of time but it's fixed now (I think) will tell you tomorrow when the glue dry...

Biggest job was cleaning shelf's in the panty then packing them with new food... Washing out the refrigerator, freezer then packing everything away....

I was asked about the cost of food why so much, take a house with nothing in it food wise, then we are looking at food for four to six weeks and you buy it all in two day... But you do catch up in a way at the end of the year we eat what we have and buy nothing in the last four weeks before we go away...

Green it is very green here a lot of grass across the outback it looking good that what rain does....

I take pictures tomorrow, no wildlife to be seen, it been so dry and hot all the wild life has moved away or it dead... It's sad but no Emu, Kangaroos no nothing here right now...

Pictures tomorrow, you all have fun...

Tuesday 14th May 2019

We left Mildura just after 8am, driving to Wentworth on the NSW side of the Murray River the trip today 300kms. From Wentworth you just drive straight all the way to Broken Hill... Remember Broken Hill is on South Australian time you need to add 30min's

There is not much out here.... We are back in the outback...

Have never seen so many signs, and they are all the same. You have to wonder why so close, read below...

The new water pipe line from the Murray River at Wentworth all the way to Broken Hill near 300km's that a big project...

It's really flat no hills and no corners you just drive and drive... The heads up display show 90kph 1800rpm Water temperature 92c, using 17lph in fuel with the caravan on the back... It just goes on and on...

Blue sky, and no grass...

Tomorrow 300km's to home... But we do have to turn one corner drive 200km's East turn left drive 100km North and we are home...

Pickup our food order at 8am tomorrow and head for home...

Wonder what we will find after 6mths away... You all have fun...

Monday 13th May 2019

Sorry no pictures today, we have been flat out buying food, and what we need for home in White Cliffs today it was Aldi (a new Aldi in Mildura) we were buying what we need to restock the house in White Cliffs. We did our biggest shop today of the year, food, cleaners and a heap more to restock and stock home for a month cost around $1000... we also placed a big online order in Broken Hill that we pickup on Wednesday 8am and then head for home...

We will stay two nights in the caravan at home in White Cliffs while we clean up after six months away... They had rain 40mm two weeks ago and we were told our tanks are full of rain water...

We get home on the 15th May, and we have a plan for next year leave on the 1st December 2019 and visit Albury Wodonga to the mid January then we are planning a trip to Terang VIC, and stay in the one park for three months. February, March, April then head for home 1st May... Terang is the best place we have been we both say that...

We had a quite day in Mildura we just went for a drive today along the Murray River... Mother's Day and a 100% cloud cover all day not rain but it did look and feel like rain all day...

Our first picture today was from Bill in Queensland...Not a bad picture... Taken at Mooloolaba, thanks Bill..

Carol picture taken to beside the Murray River...

Murray River this is a nice picture taken today at Mildura..

Crossing the main bridge at Mildura NSW to VIC. I filled with fuel (Unleaded 91) cost $1.449 here to $1.51...

Back at the caravan park (no one in the pool) but it looks clean...

Our caravan in Mildura (Red Cliff) it is a very nice park..

There are a small number of caravans here..

Marks the way to the toilet...

We have a toilet shower in the caravan and we all need a place (called a Dump Point) to empty our caravan toilets here is the Dump Point in the caravan park..

We had a really good day... in Mildura (Geelong won AFL even better)....

Tomorrow, we go shopping and leave for Broken Hill Tuesday....

At 2pm we said let's keep going to Mildura, and we did... Stopping at Red Cliff about 5km's from Mildura for the next three night...

We did about 450km's today our biggest day in the last six month's... It was a really easy drive...

I sat on 87kph with the caravan on the back, all day this is the Hay Planes just flat no hills no corners to turn.

Cotton as far as you can see out here bales of cotton... As you can see speed 87kph ...

Cross the Murray River at Mildura..

Carol took this saying it be no good as we cross from NSW into VIC at Mildura but in a way it's good and has it's own story. You can see where we are, you can see the caravan you can see the rain coming...

A big day we are in Mildura area... will leave Tuesday morning and head north to Broken Hill...

A big day but a fun day on the road...

A shocking day for everyone in South East Australia we had a top of 9c and wind a very cold wind rain, it was a shocker of a day but we stuck to the plan visit the Darlington Point Zoo and we did...

Today we made a trip to Griffith 35km's North of Darlington Point where we are staying... We did a bit of shopping in town... That is a very busy place, everywhere you go it is packed.

The main street of Griffith...

It is a very busy place...

We were looking for a place to park in the main street but gave up and went to the plaza...

I think that plane been flying in the same spot for 40yrs in the main street...

Nice building, I think a Mosque in Griffith, nice looking building...

That's cotton growing there, so much of it...

I have never seen so much cotton, the last time we were here there was fruit trees, now not a fruit tree to be seen...

We are book tomorrow for a trip to the local Zoo in Darlington Point....

Wednesday 8th May 2019

We left Temora this morning and headed West then South via Ardlethan where we had a good look around.. Next shop was, Grong Grong it is a small town that is located in the Riverina region of New South Wales, Australia. The town is situated on the Newell Highway, 23 kilometres east of Narrandera in the Shire of Narrandera. The name Grong Grong is an Aboriginal term meaning "bad camping ground" or "very bad camping ground" (yep that's about right...).

Next Narrandera, until around 1949 also spelled "Narandera", is a town located in the Riverina region of southern New South Wales, Australia. The town lies on the junction of the Newell and Sturt highways, adjacent to the Murrumbidgee River, and it is considered the gateway to the Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area...

And our stop for a few night "Darlington Point" is a small town on the banks of the Murrumbidgee River in the Riverina district of western New South Wales, Australia. It is part of the Murrumbidgee Council local government area. The centre of town is four kilometres from the Sturt Highway, along Kidman Way.

So home for a few day is "Darlington Point" around 30km's South of Griffith where we plan to go shopping at tomorrow...

Our camp at "Darlington Point" in the caravan park...

We are right beside the Murrumbidgee River, a truck crossing the river today. There is water in the Murrumbidgee River but not a lot as you can see in the picture..

This is part of the old bridge, it now sits at the entry to the caravan park. See the truck on the highway that's carry cotton yep rolls of cotton...

As we drove into the local area we passed a number of cotton crops...

Our camp, it's a nice spot next door to a bbq area with under cover table...

As I said we are just outside Griffith, and near the Darlington Point Zoo...

We are now a bit closer to home should be there by the end of next week... White Cliffs people put the coffee it be good to see you all...

Did you know that over a 100 people a week read "Three Dots".

Have fun..

Tuesday 7th May 2019

Temora today we looked around town then it was back to the showgrounds for lunch they have a good $2 shop in town and a good hardware shop...

There is a Woolworth's and IGA Supermarket... a good main street most shops are full and trading well it is hard to find a parking spot in the main street...

There are some great buildings in Temora you just need to drive around..

There are so many church's in Temora...

It's a town you need to look around...

We move on early tomorrow morning somewhere to the west of here towards the Griffith area...

A quite afternoon at the caravan...

You all have fun...

Glass blowing is a big business in town this young lad is in training...

The glass shop also has a coffee shop and a lot of glass for sale...

Spring creek it is in the Ned Kelly movie and we slowed to about 1kph as around 500 cattle crossed the bridge.

There were around 500 walking the same way as we were going...

That's a truck in front of us as a few locals cross the road...

We rolled into Temora 250km's west of Canberra and said that's it for today we found the local showgrounds and called it quits for today...

Doug sent us some more mini rail picture, I note all the rain water has drained away and you have better weather..

Doug train with a contract driver at the control's hahaha...

This is a big day for this train owner it took years to build and cost over $60,000 yep you got that right big money...

My guess is they call it a turn table where they park the trains when not in use...

Some of these trains are very heavy, far to heavy to pick up...

Thanks Doug for the pictures great stuff...
